„Искам да изкажа своето възхищение от работата на министър Василев. Чувствам се все едно гоня един много бърз влак и трябва да се кача в движение. Стандартът и темповете на работа, които наложи и политиките, които заложи бяха изключително точни и добре изпълнени“, заяви от своя страна Белчев.
„Ще трябва да правим нов бюджет и това е тежко занятие. На екипите наскоро им се наложи да минат през актуализацията, която им коства много усилия, така, че са подготвени. За съжаление или за радост ще трябва да се запази темпото. Нямам притеснения, че ще се справим“, коментира още новия финансов министър.
Асен Василев коментира и своето бъдещо участие в политиката. Той обаче не отговори в конкретика под каква форма ще участва в политическия живот на страната, след като вече няма да бъде финансов министър.
„Два или три дни ми трябват, за да помисля как да се включим в политическия живот, тъй като няма как да се направи партия от сега за изборите. Основното нещо, което според мен е най-важното в следващия парламент е да се сглоби мнозинство, което може да управлява. Това е най-тежката задача“, заяви Василев.
„България не е бедна държава, но безобразно крадена. И ако ние затегнем контрола и спрем течовете, ще постигнем същото, което направихме с актуализацията на бюджета – намалихме дефицита и в същото време има пари и за социална политика, и за култура, и за образование и за всичко останало. Задачата в следващата година е да се спрат течовете и да използваме средствата, които фирмите и българските работници дават в бюджета по един ефективен начин. Не зная как ще определите това – ляво, дясно или център, но горе-долу това е моята лична философия как да се подходи към икономическата политика на страната“, коментира още той.
Асен Василев заяви още, че „България дефакто вече е приела еврото“.
„Сега Бордът предпазва от това в парламента да не се развихри популизма. Но в момента, в който приемем еврото, тази „усмирителна риза” изчезва. За да я запазим, трябва да се организират дискусии и да се приемат механизми“, коментира той.
