На този ден християните трябва да пречистят душите си, да се изпълнят с мир и любов, за да посрещнат Възкресение Христово. От следващия ден започват строгите Великденски пости, с които се пречиства не само тялото, но и духа. Затова в деня преди поста се иска и дава прошка….
