В месеците преди въвеждането на еврото в България гражданите ще бъдат насърчавани да депозират възможно най-много левови банкноти и монети в банкови сметки.Като се има предвид, че всички средства в левове по сметките ще бъдат превалутирани безплатно в евро на датата на въвеждане на еврото, считано от този ден, трансакциите за безкасово плащане ще се извършват само в евро.От датата на въвеждане на еврото Българската народна банка (БНБ) ще обменя безплатно, в неограничено количество и без ограничение във времето банкноти и монети от левове в евро по официалния валутен курс 1,95583 лв….
