Проливни дъждове наводниха древния град Петра, предаде „Ройтерс”.Градът е обграден от високи планини и е достъпен през тясно дефиле. Именно дефилето се превърна в бързотечаща река и туристите трябваше да бъдат евакуирани.Подобно наводнение не се случва за първи път в Петра. През 2018 г. повече от 20 души загинаха, а през 1963 г. 23-ма френски туристи бяха отнесени от внезапно наводнение….
